3. Six weeks before the actual test, have your student take the second practice test in Part V. Compare the results from this test with those from the first practice test. Identify areas of improvement as well as areas that still require work.

4. Four weeks before the real test, have your student take the diagnostic test provided by the ERB, titled What to Expect on the Lower Level ISEE, which can be found at ERBLearn.org.

5. Lastly, keep in mind that the ISEE is just one part of a complete application. Schools also consider a student’s grades, extracurricular activities, teacher recommendations, and personal essays, so it's important not to stress too much over the test!
